WI DNR Mega Career Preview Event – September 30, 2026

    The WI DNR employs over 2,000 employees that serve all 72 counties in Wisconsin with roles in natural resource management, environmental science, fisheries and wildlife biology, forestry, water resources, conservation enforcement, engineering, business and finance, IT, communications, public affairs, and more! 

    Students that rsvp to this page will receive information of those reps attending ahead of the event. 

    This drop-in style event will give you access to a wide range of divisions in the DNR to more directly connect with, to improve application submission, deadlines, and learn about opportunities. In addition – the Human Resources team will be on-site to assist with all questions and help you navigate the event. 

    Expecting nearly 20 representatives, each rep with have his/her own table to meet with you 1:1. The DNR supports internships, LTE, seasonal jobs, and full-time employment. This is also a great place to setup a shadow opportunity that works for your schedule. Don’t be afraid to ask about job shadowing opportunities as you network, share your interests, and learn about where you could fit in.
