The 8-week summer version of Introductory Biology 152 integrates the traditionally separate subject modules evolution, plant biology, and ecology into a series of six case studies emphasizing the interconnectedness of biological concepts.

John T. Curtis was a renowned ecologist and Professor of Botany at UW-Madison. Curtis’s two sons established the scholarship in 2014 to honor him. The scholarship provides $1,000 in tuition assistance for the upcoming fall semester.
